We are proud to announce having closed 25 years servicing the Middle East insurance market. Fenchurch Faris Ltd. was established in 1984 by Mr. Basim R. Faris, BA, FCII, an Arab insurance professional. Mr. Faris went into a 50/50 partnership with Fenchurch plc, a major Lloyd's broker and now the Heath Lambert Group. Mr. Faris has been the Managing Director of the Partnership since inception. In 1998 Al Said Ltd. joined the partnership and are represented by Mr. Wael Said Khoury, who has been the Chairman of Fenchurch Faris Ltd. since 1999.

Fenchurch Faris Ltd. was created as a professional service company, operating in the Arab Middle East, to provide insurance and reinsurance consultancy & broking and risk management services backed by a major Lloyd's broker.

In ATHENS, our main office transacts mainly wholesale business (reinsurance - facultative and treaty).

In KUWAIT, we opened our associate office, Fenchurch Faris Ltd. Kuwait in 1985 in partnership with a Kuwaiti national, Mrs. Fetouh Al Falah. This office provides mainly retail business (direct broking and consultancy services). In 2005, Fenchurch Faris Ltd. became the underwriting agent for Jordan Insurance Company in Kuwait.

In ABU DHABI – UAE, Fenchurch Faris Ltd. opened its branch office in 2006. It transacts both retail and wholesale business.

In ATHENS - GREECE a new entity, Fenchurch Faris Hellas Ltd., was opened in 2006 to cater to the Greek market. It transacts both retail and wholesale business.

In AMMAN – JORDAN, Fenchurch Faris Ltd., opened its newest branch office in 2007. It transacts mainly retail business.

In LONDON, our original partners, (once called Fenchurch plc, and amongst Lloyd's most dynamic broking houses) merged in 1997 with Lowndes Lambert, becoming the Lambert Fenchurch Group. In 1999 it merged with C.E. Heath to become the Heath Lambert Group.
